They say Wyrd Wood was born on a night when the veil between worlds thinned, and the forest sighed with the sound of ancient tongues. From that hush rose a single light— a candle burning in the hollow of an old oak.
No one knew who made it. Some say a witch carved it from the marrow of twilight itself; others say the forest wished it into being to keep the cold at bay. But those who found it spoke of strange comfort—the kind that makes the hairs on your neck stand, yet feels like coming home.

We believe every flame tells a story: a story of transformation, ritual, and rebellion against the ordinary. Whether you’re summoning the perfect Halloween atmosphere, curating a gothic home, or simply indulging in the art of darkness, our candles burn with purpose, beauty, and just a little bit of mischief.
Candle Care & Safety
- Never leave unattended: and extinguish all candles before leaving a room or going to sleep.
- Trim the wick: to 5mm (1/4 inch) before each burn to ensure a good flame and prevent smoking.
- Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface: away from drafts, vents, and any flammable objects like curtains or paper.
- Keep candles out of reach: of children and pets.
- Remove all packaging: and decorative toppings before lighting.
- Do not move a lit candle: or one with liquid wax.
- Use a snuffer or spoon: to extinguish the flame, avoiding blowing it out.
- Stop burning when: about 1cm of wax remains at the bottom of the container.
