About Us

Wyrd Wood was born from my love of paganism, witchcraft, folklore, and slow seasonal living. Inspired by the Wheel of the Year, gothic aesthetics, and dark cottagecore, I wanted to create candles that bring the magic and energy of the outside world into the home.

As a mum and carer within a neurodivergent household, I wanted to build a business rooted in passion that could work alongside my lifestyle, while also creating something my family could one day become a part of too.

I’ve always been drawn to the way fragrance can act as a portal; transforming a space, creating atmosphere, and making an aesthetic feel truly immersive. Whether it’s escaping to an enchanted forest or exploring a storm lit Victorian manor, Wyrd Wood candles are designed to evoke ambience, intention, and a little everyday enchantment.
